About Dance EFX

We offer classroom, performance and competition opportunities for our students. We like to expose our students to all the dance world has to offer! With that in mind we have increased our faculty to meet our students continued excellence. We have teachers and guest teachers with experience from all corners of the world. Professional instruction by a multi-talented and well-qualified staff presents each student with a rewarding experience. The support each student receives enhances self-esteem and builds self-confidence as they progress. All of us at Dance EFX are totally committed to each child's dance education so that they may all reach their full potential.

Opening in July of 2005, Dance EFX is celebrating years of excellence! The time has gone so quickly and we have accomplished much! Every student is a star and their star needs to shine bright! I believe our students talents should not stay within our four walls; they need to show how amazing they are! Just our first year alone we set our pace performing in several festivals, parades, half time performances at Campbell University basketball games, Christmas and spring recitals and Disney's Magic Music Days with a performance in the Magic Kingdom. Our second year we added the NC State Fair Folk Festival, competition teams with Nationals in Myrtle Beach and in the Bahamas aboard Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, the "Dancing for Angels" program and giving back with More at Four, Relay for Life and other community programs in Harnett County. With all our other "outside activities" still in play, this year we have added our Benefit Concert performances, "Dancing with the Stars" fundraiser for our competition teams and celebrating "National Dance Day" with a flashmob at Cary Town Center Mall.

When the students are in class they work very hard and we like to balance that with fun activities inside and outside the studio. We have sleepovers, teen dances, attend performances by touring companies, see dance oriented movies and just this year we filmed our first "music video" (that was a blast!!!)

If I had to describe Dance EFX in just a few words I would say:

"Every child that walks through our door is a star and we have what it takes to make sure that star shines bright!"

Birthday Parties

YES, we do birthday parties and the kids love them! Up to 12 of their friends, two hours at the studio, a hip-hop class complete with costumes, karaoke, tumbling, video games and more. The best part, the parents get to sit back relax and let us do the work!
